You need to know what brand and model of your video card (either ATI or Nvidia if it's PCI). Then go to their website, look for your model, and update it. If your graphics is integrated into the motherboard, then it's either Intel or AMD. Same thing...go to their website and update it.

A way to check what your graphics card is to go to the Windows menu and click Run... Type in dxdiag and wait for it to load, (press yes when a popup happens) Go to display and there's your graphics card!
