Alright, i've been msning for the past 6 hrs. I've had about 12 different chats in that time and they all told me they fear death. So here's my question; Why do you people fear death? Do you not see that death is merely freedom from this world of pollution, corruption, pain, and torment? Fearing death to me is like fearing not feeling anything. Wouldn't it be surreal to not feel anything anymore? Please tell me. EDIT: Sorry if the title is upfronting and seemingly disrespectful. But i was frustrated, though this poses no excuse.

But to me if your dead your just laying there as time goes on. Doing nothing, its like your life is gone and you cant have it back. You just die and its blank.

Why wouldn't you fear dying? Your making your own life a prison and not living it out like the most of us. I personally do fear dying because it is something I have never experienced and don't even know how the hell I am going to die. Plus I don't want to lose everything that I worked for, friends, family, and other things. Why would I want to give important things in my life to be buried under the ground? Its scary stuff and yet sad....

I fear death because the fact of getting old and losing everything as a kid depresses me sometimes...thats why u needa live every moment as the greatest especialy now in ur summr vacation. Trust me im not letting anything slip by and im making memories everyday..I have nno regret in my life and when i die (Im catholic) ill be somewhere else =] (sorry if this will start a flame war but i believe in heaven)

It's not like I'm fretting over dying constantly or anything, for me it's just something I'd really rather not happen, at least not until I'm good and old. I'm enjoying life and there are still plenty of things I want and look forward to doing or achieving, and that's something I don't want to lose. So...iunno.
