Dawn Warriors Mob Attack Without Slash Blast

Sorry if this is already common knowledge, but Dawn Warrior can substitute the Soul skill for Slash Blast as the mob attack. So, an alternative build would be to get Soul to at least level 10 or even max it out. I'm not sure if it would be successful, but it does help greatly with training, depending on where you train and how well funded your character is. Just putting it out there that if you don't want to use Slash Blast and instead want "the new, cool-looking skill", you can do it. A Soul attack + power strike also makes a nice rapid double hit on monsters sometimes.

I sometimes feel that Soul is too slow to attack so it doesn't much other than finish stuff off for me.

It's more than possible- considering PQ will be the best exp from 10-30 anyway. Your chances of finding a mob over 3 monsters is slim too, so a lv1 Soul Blade would probably be very efficient, taking into account it has range. I'm maxing both PS and SB out because Soul is kinda useless later on (though I do agree that it's really helpful atm), and partially because I just may need to hit 6 monsters every now and then.

no i believe SB is much more useful because later lvls ull need Sb a lot especially with mobbing besides if u get a mob u can use both soul and SB doubling the dmg killing twice as fast

Well, once you get past level 30 with the advancement, you get Soul Blade which would become a new mob attack that replaces Soul somewhat. There are quite a few places where mob attacking is useful, like the Cynical Orange Mushroom place and Henesys Hunting Ground.
