Can you add ATT to anything with maker?

The diamonds say it only works on weapons. However, dark gems and dark crystals say its a totally random effect. I have yet to see a list of what a dark crystal can add. What if you could make an overall with wep att?

Dark Crystal works like a chaos scroll I believe. Diamonds only work on weapons.
