Guide: How to run 2 Maples on 1 Comp.(No 3rd party program)

Intro Hi, for the past two hours, I have been trying to find a way to run 2 Maples on 1 Comp. I have tried VM but it is hard to set up and Nexon could ban you as a potential 3rd party program. I have read many guides but nothing seemed to work for me. After many attempts, I managed to find my own way to run 2 Maples! I do not know if this method is already known but if not, I have made this guide to help you guys! What you need 1) A computer 2) Maple Story downloaded 3) A portable USB or portable Hard drive that can fit Maple Story Steps 1) Create an Admin account 2) Export the WHOLE Maple Story folder from your computer to your portable unit 3) Switch users to your new account and run Maple from the portable unit! (This is very important, make sure that you run the Maple that is on the portable device!) 4) Be sure to choose switch users to alternate in between sessions. 5) Enjoy Notes 1) My comp runs on Windows XP so I am not sure if this works for anything else (But try it anyways, it should work). 2) This method could of been known already so SORRY. 3) Playing Maple does not lagg at all, however, there is lagg in between switching accounts (Based on my experience). 4) You can MAYBE do this way without a portable unit, by accessing Maple Story on the C: Drive where it was downloaded with the other admin account. Not sure 100%- Props to AmericanBoy 5) To get rid of the in-between lagg, make both Maples run on windowed mode, try to delete as much destop icons as possible, and make the background one color. How to work Vista - Props to rangerkiller If you use Vista do the following things first. 1. Make sure you put your Maplestory Installation Wizard somewhere that could be accessible, like in the Nexon Folder. 2. Go to it and launch it, this will allow you to make another Maplestory Files 3. Once you get to the part where you get to choose where you put the Nexon Folder, and name and such, change the Name from "Nexon" to Nexon1, or whatever you fit is best. 4. Just wait until your installation is complete, and now log in. Advantages of Dual Maples 1) Trade wins for certain PQs 2) Put shop up and play 3) Leech 4) Family rep points 5) Self HB, Haste, etc. mule 6) More more more! New Way! There is a very easy way without using a flash stick. Open Maple on drive you downloaded it in. Go on your 2nd admin account then: Go to mycomputer===>C:drive===>nexon====>Maple Story====> Click on the icon with the Maple house. =] ENJOY

No where at all in this guide to even mention switching accounts to the end. You need to include EVERYTHING you did, as well as some screen shots of parts that may be confusing. You must also be ready to have people ask you for help, and questions, and PM you and consistently ask you to help them troubleshoot their issues.

I will answer any questions though. Chill, don't be a critic.

omg im rly confused. i put maplestory on my usb, but it doesnt work on my computer, but i put it on my laptop and it works. help please..

u dont have to put it on a usb, just find the file in my computer of the other user then play

You can just do it by accessing ms from your hard-drive o_o
