Leeching question (not that i've ever done it before)

I keep hearing from posts that leeching at a low level requires a PG mule. I can't seem to understand how the PG mule damaging the monster would result in you getting exp. O.o Please give me answers >.<

you need to do damage to the monster in order to get exp if you're not within 5 lvls below the monster's lvl. The PG Mule is typically lvl 31 as that's the lowest lvl to get Power Guard. Since the mule is most likely lower level than you, the hit from Power Guard is also indirectly counted as yours too. So therefore you get exp from the kill. And the PG mule doesn't. B/c he's dead.

Let's say hypothetically, i will leech at a BF with a PG mule. How much dmg would max PG do to the BF, and how much exp would i get from that. (i still don't understand the concept of the PG mule hurting the monster which gives me exp :/)

It really doesnt matter how much damg u do with PG as long as u hit it, the person with in 5lvs of a pg mule commenly as lv 31 with get exp at lv26+. But usaly a lot at its lv since the PG mule is dead and ur a low lv. Edit Pg has 100% hit rate if im not mistaken so if u hit a high lv monster with a low lv char and the monster dies u get a fraction of the kill by the PG mule

ull get exp if ure killer is lvl 56 :P but i highly doubt that... is red snail shell 100% too? o.o

how does it wrk at skeles if you kill a bunch? o.o i dont wanna leech but im just confused
