Did i mess up my Dawn warrior?

i have max hp, no iron body, max power striker, 11 slash blast and max soul. I was thinking since in 2nd job you will get soul blade what is the point of slash blast if soul blade can do a better job.

if you can make it up to the levels where you max soul blade, then i dont think you messed up.

its okay but u'll have a lil harder time until u have soul blade at higher lvls cause u wont be able to mob as much in cpq with 11 slash
