| Okay so it took me three days to figure this out. When MapleStory patch v.73 came out, it wouldn't connect. I would receive the Error Code 805306416. I've done everything you can think of. The last thing I DIDN'T want to do was remove my antivirus called Norton360. If you are having the same problem as me and you've tried everything, you should listen carefully. The first thing you have to do is uninstall your antivirus (especially if it's by Norton). Norton has a takeover command that disables you from fully deleting it EVEN IF you did use add/remove programs. So to bypass this, go to google and type in "norton antivirus removal". I can't post the website here but there's a good one. It's free so if you get into a website askin for money, look for another one. Completely remove Norton, but be careful. They will ask you to restart your computer. Before doing this, go back and turn on your firewall (if you turned it off to see if MS will work then, only finding out that it doesn't help). BTW. This is also a solution if you're stuck on base 3/3. Here was my condition before I did what I told you guys: - Could connect to the internet but MS wasn't able to get through - I realized that MS might be blocked, but it cant be. My ISP doesn't block anything. It's either firewall or antivirus. - Could not open other games that required the internet - I couldn't open other games like Gunbound, KalOnline, and WarCraft [3] - When I download something, it works. But when that download needs to be installed and requires internet connection, the installation fails (often times, some programs go around this, I'm not sure how) Anyways, if you've tried everything like I have, this is worth a shot. Just be sure to put your firewall up again before you restart. If you have any issues, please be aware that I gave you warning, and that I instructed you, the reader, to ONLY USE THIS as a last resort. Do consider if you have any better options before trying. If you have more problems, go ahead and defame me or whatever at scania. My IGN there is ChowFanhLoh.
