This is what I said in my ticket for the GM to read~ Hey, I was wondering why my account got banned for 9 days for misconduct @ 5:23 PM (PDT) on the day of July 28th 2009. I was not even logged onto my account at that time, so I don't know what happened. Please resolve this problem as quickly as possible. Thank you for your time and effort to solve this problem as I would like to play Maplestory again. Sincerely, TheIceGuy (IGN) This is GM Libra's response to my ticket "Greetings, Thank you for contacting Nexon America's Customer Support team. Your ban appeal has been denied. We periodically investigate meso activity on all servers. Unfortunately, your account was found to have been involved in the acceptance or distribution of illegally obtained mesos. This could be due to trading with a player who illegally obtained mesos and/or purchasing mesos from a "gold farming" or meso selling website. These website conduct activities that are illegal and completely against our Terms of Use. We strongly suggest that you refrain from being involved in any of the above activities. Sincerely, GM Libra" /Discuss?

they just copy-paste the whole story everytime they see: banned for misconduct.. so dont expect too much

I don't buy mesos from sites. You think I would buy mesos from those stupid sites? Do you guys not realise what the GM is saying here? Most of us could have been banned B/C of the Meso selling sites, they get mesos illigally and somehow the GM's can detect that, and whatever account the "illegal" mesos go into, that is a high risk of being banned. So basically if you do any type of meso transfer business with people that bought mesos from those illegal sites then you will probably be banned.

WHAT? What are the chances of trading with someone who buys mesos? I really do hope that when I log on today, I wouldnt find my account banned. And WTH, why ban people who have mesos that are from meso sites? It is not our fault that people trade with them, some dont even know that the mesos were bought Damit, GM's fail

That's exactly what I'm thinking. How would we know if the mesos we transact were obtained from meso sites illegally? I just sent Nexon another ticket saying this: Hello GM Libra, I would like to ask you one final question as to why and how I got banned. Sincerely, GM Libra" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- My question to you is: How am I really supposed to know if who I am trading items -> mesos or vice versa with has hacked mesos in their inventory or not? It's quite obvious that it's nearly impossible for regular Maplsetory Players to detect that as all mesos in the game look exactly the same, just numbers, and nothing else that we can see. So what I'm actually trying to ask is can I at least get a refund for my 9,900 NX item that I bought a day before I was banned (Which is the 2-week Mushroom shop) or some type of reimbursement? I mean really, it's nearly impossible for regular Maplestory every-day players to enjoy a game that has hacked mesos going around when virtually nobody can tell but of course the Game Masters such as yourself, Right? Anyways, Thanks for your time and effort on reading this ticket, as I still really appreciate it. I ask once more if my ban may be lifted. This is where I give up supporting Nexon, I've always told people about all the good things about Nexon and supported Nexon and gave them background information. This is where I draw the line, they've gone too far, there's no way any regular, any mapler for that matter, can even tell if just one meso was bought/gold farmed. This is completely insane...
