Half my friends in-game are quitting, same with lots of my guild members. The game has always been dead, but now its just more clear with all this new stuff, seriously... quest items in the cash shop? vicious hammer? In the ToS a while ago it said that the cash shop would never give users an advantage, well here we are... huge advantages with the cash shop. So.. are you quitting MapleStory now? I can guarantee that its just going to get worst, don't believe me? Just look at the transition from patch to patch, starting with the first patch at the beginning of MapleStory.

I quit already.. I'm probably just going to be on basil a lot to see if anything new happens or just sign on every week or so to visit and see how everyone is doing.

I don't think that it's going to get worse, but there will be those moments where you're like "NX this NX that" and get a little ticked off.

I just started the game a couple weeks ago so there's no way I'm quitting anytime soon. The people I meet are usually really friendly and there's no greed with drops or anything like that during party training. It's all really relaxed and fun. The cash shop stuff is annoying, but I just ignore it. The game is still free to play so I'm not going to be too annoyed at the company if it tries to make a buck off of me.

Mmm... I reinstalled the game and have played it the last two days (playing it until my new computer parts come in and I have a decent computer...). I don't notice anything different than when I quit (which was only right after Pirates was released, but still). In fact, no one has said anything bad to me yet at all... I've even have random people come up to me, fame me, and one even ran around spamming "BUSTING IS AWESOME!" for no apparent reason. Unless I'm just seeing a very rare part of the community, I'd say it's gotten better, to be honest. When pirates came out, and even months before that, the community was just agonizing. But one thing is clear, while I may still play every once in a while, I'm never spending money on NX again (I'll just use MTS when possible from my Bera characters)... >_> It's obvious they're centering too much crap around it, and, I don't know. I don't see much point in it anymore, aside from the shops.
