Does it count the time in "You have played Maplestory for X hours" or does it count the time from when you put it on?

the item does say "as soon as it's equipped" what the heck do you think that means?

It says EXP will increase as soon as it is equipped. I think you need to learn how to read.

Time it is equipped. But apparently, when it hits the 1 hour mark (20%) you get kicked.

Everytime you log on, the message appears. So everytime you log on you "equip" it.The hourly message appears even when you switch accounts/characters, but the pendant restarts everytime you d/c or log off. I didn't get kicked at 1 hour...I almost at 2 hours now.

Its from time you equiped it /log on and every hour it increases untill 2+ its good xp but if u dc you gottta start over

Put it on 3 hours before the 2s event so that you can have 2 hours of 2.6x exp. Or 5.2x exp with a 2x card. Yes, it works like this; I did it yesterday with my 2x card and family 2x.
