I went 13 Sprite since Archers have tons of accuracy already and I didn't really need the 20 avoid.

More Accuracy and Avoid is always nice, and Sprite is truly useless past first job. It's only purpose for me is to gather mobs and keep monsters still, and it does that fine at level 3.

I went max Focus because it's somewhat more useful than Sprite once you reach second job. Storm Breath just pushes all the mobs away and it's a much better mobbing skill than Sprite. However, I believe it is possible to get nearly max for both of them by the end of second job.

Yes this is true, I personally got 10 storm sprite and 3 focus so that at the end of my 2nd job, I will have max focus. But if you plan to be doing lots of competitive CPQ, I'd suggest more focus so you do not miss as much. With my level 3, I miss the average monsters around 20% of the time.

Sprite won't really be of much use since you're a far attacker. It'll probably only keep monsters at bay for 1 sec if it can kb them but you'll have Storm Breath for that. Storm Breath can mob quite well since it's fast. Besides, Focus has a nice +20 avoid. o.O

I'm going Sprite I don't care what other people think. @ above Sprite won't really be of much use since you're a far attacker. It'll probably only keep monsters at bay for 1 sec if it can kb them but you'll have Storm Breath for that. Storm Breath can mob quite well since it's fast. Besides, Focus has a nice +20 avoid. o.O You won't need avoid if your a far attacker.
