I'm getting an error message when I try to open maplestory saying "a gameguard file is corrupt or missing". How could I fix that? Thanks

You have to e-mail the *.erl files to GameGuard (there should be 11) and they'll send you fresh ones. DW, it happened to me as well.

I have 19 files in my gameguard folder

If you have less, then send delete every MS file on your computer and re-install it to get the ones your missing. If you have 11, then 1 or more are corrupted and you should do what my first post said.

I'm having this same issue. How do i resolve it? like everytime i download the game is comes with gamegaurd and doesnt patch or anything.

try redownload whole game..coz its HackShield not GameGuard
