You can go to Himes, snipe Newties, or go to NightShadows at the map "Wraith of Time".

I'm sure I'm not the only one that can help ya, but thanks for picking me out I guess. xD I suggest trying solo/party Himes, solo Nightshadows, or else Newts parties. It's also pretty easy to switch from one to the other if you get bored and want to shift gears. xD Edit: Qwan got it. Map for NS is "Wrath of Night" though. xD

Yep, you have to climb up Crimsonwood Mountain, passing Lower Ascent and the Crimson Guardian, and once you in the room with a big ass statue, it's located at the door on the top left, if I'm not mistaken.

Simply go up to Lower Ascent and keep heading up the mountain, either path gets you to Upper Ascent and 1 map up from that is the castle gate. Simply Dark Sight past the Crimson Guardians and go past the empty courtyard. You'll end up at Hall of Mastery. Wrath of Night is the door closer to the center on the farthest top left. xD

I would think that JNPT is better, simply because it doesn't waste much pots, and the priest usually heals you when you are midding. DO NOT Bot, it is a pot burner and it isn't worth it. With a pet, it is also better cause it can loot the drops.

As for how to get to Lower Ascent, in your Setup menu, do you have two item called the Map of Phantom Forest and the Mark of Heroism? Those two items are very helpful in getting to Lower Ascent and the maps beyond. The MoPF open up a shortcut, and the MoH allows you to skip the jump quest there.
