Question about leeching threads.

I really don't know why you guys are complaining so much about leechers. Are they directly affecting you or hindering you in any way while you play maple? No, they're definitely not. In most cases, the leechers have to merchant for endless hours in order to pay for their leech, so it's not like they're getting it for free, they're using their own money from their own work. Just because you guy's don't have the patience to merchant to get enough money to leech, doesn't mean you have to annoy us all on basil. EDIT: If you're in a map where people are leeching, you just have bad luck. It's not like they stalked you just so they could annoy you.

It does matter when you need a MP3/Wind raider channel and a bunch of Bishops are spamming gene. And if it's 2x exp then you're totally out of luck. It does somewhat hinder game play for the non-leechers. Not much, but enough to be noticed.

Yeah, they are hindering everyone because they are turning this into a game that is beatable purely through real-life money. They are cutting down on training spots and creating an economy that will eventually collapse on itself. Seriously, you can BUY mesos, so don't give us that crap about 'patience to merchant'. You need to BUY a store to be successful, and aside from some perverse hoarding obsession, what fun is it to merchant? Leechers are the true losers in the equation, so I agree people should stop complaining. These poor fools can't play a rated E game properly, that's purely pathetic. We should throw these people some pity instead of shouting at them, they're just trying to comprehend a game by playing it in a retarded fashion.

I do not 100% agree. I've been pretty neutral about leeching, up until yesterday. I remember when leeching first started being used, players only used it to get through hard levels, and then train the way up. Now, that Cygnus knight leeched all her way up to 120 in 17 hours. This game is meant to be played with you at the screen gaining your own EXP. For those of you who say, "oh, it's your own story." How is it your story if you're barely playing the game? It's more of the Bishop's or AM's story than yours if you ask me. This is ridiculous. And when you say it doesn't affect other players, then why are so many people making threads about it? Even if it doesn't affect directly, it does affect another player, maybe just in another way. Hardworking people were trying to get that top spot in the rankings, and some leecher just took it. Sure, the threads do get on some people's nerves, but leeching is frickin' getting on my nerves.

I merchant endless hours for my mesos, and I don't leech. For all you pro-leecher, there's no denying this leeching fiasco is a problem in this game. 120 in 1 day? If you don't see a problem in that, then there's something wrong with you.

I think that leeching used to be fine, but Now everyone leeches, for like EVERY level. It's starting to get out of hand. some don't merch for countless hours, they buy NX and then buy a smega and GFA60%'s and Smega. time consumed: 20seconds. So, I don't what side to be on w/ leeching, so I'm neutral.
