Alright, I bid on someone's item on Basil for a decent price, and I really want the item. About 10 minutes after I bid on the item, I get outbid. I check to see who outbid me, and their character's name is identical to the person with the item I bid on. Because both of the character's names end in TEAh. I am positive they are just using a second account to make more money. Is this allowed? And what should I do?

report them obviously.

Report the person, it's the most logical thing to do. Also, do not continue to bid on that item

Yeah, check rule 8, it should be listed as Auction System Fraud. Report it and mrbasil will take care of both of the accounts appropriately.

Report them. There is a possibility, however that that suffix is popular, or signifies a bond of some sort. It doesn't necessarily mean that they are the same account.

They claimed to be friends, but I didn't believe them because I don't understand why a friend would start bidding the moment after I do. Especially since the auction was going on for awhile. After they saw this thread I made they immediately took off the bid, so now I don't get the item, but at least they were caught. Anyways, thread closed.
