BobRHey everyone- Save yourselves some headaches when the speed quiz (or any other valuable web pages) go offline for any reason (like the "thisguyisawesome" pages exceeded their bandwidth and were shut down by the provider), by SAVING THE PAGES TO YOUR OWN HARD DRIVE. Here's how- Open the page you want to save- that is, go to the page you want and look at it normally. Click FILE on your browser's menu bar. In Internet Explorer, click "Save As..." In Firefox, click "Save Complete Page As..." In any other browser, it'll be something similar. Make sure the "Save as type" line says "Web Page complete". Tell it some location on your computer you'll remember for the "Save in" line. Give it a unique name for the "File name" line. The speed quest pages, depending on where you get them may all have the same name- you need to give them DIFFERENT names so they'll be saved correctly. Call them something like "Speed Quest Monsters", and "Speed Quest ETCs"- or something similar. Click SAVE. Repeat this for all the pages you want to SAVE. Next time you want to check the pages, open the folder you saved the pages to. There will be a FOLDER with the name you gave the saved page, that's called something like "Speed Quiz Monsters_files", AND a file called something like "Speed Quiz Monsters.html" (depending on the name you gave the page). Double click on the .html file for the page you want to see. This will start your web browser, and load the page FROM YOUR HARD DRIVE. It doesn't matter whether the page is still there out on the Internet because it's safely saved on your hard drive. You can even look at it if your Internet is down. To make it easier to start the pages, you can make shortcuts on your desktop for each page: Open Windows Explorer, then open the folder you saved the pages to. For each page you want to make a shortcut for, RIGHT CLICK on the .html file for that page, then choose "Send to..." from the menu. Click on "Desktop (create shortcut). This will put a shortcut for the page right on your desktop. Then all you need to do is double-click on the icon on the desktop to start your browser and load that page. Easy peasy. Oh- and in case anyone needs the links to the "new" site that has the pages: http://bgro.dyndns.ws/~bubblegum/maple/potion_etc/index.php http://bgro.dyndns.ws/~bubblegum/maple/mob/index.php http://bgro.dyndns.ws/~bubblegum/maple/npc/index.php

I actually feel like doing that annoying-as-hell speed quiz. "You can't even get 20 questions right, betch? Get lost!" That's what Cassandra tells me. ^ <.< @ Above: Or just save it as .txt, and open it with an editer that shows coding such as that page.

That one's crap. ._. At least I think so... Desert Rabbit has a space. T^T EarPlugPlead? Well, not so much "crap", but the other one, which I dunno if it was the same or not, is much better. >.<

I've already backed up my copies and put them online. More mirrors yay! BobR"Saving as html" ONLY saves the html code for the page- it DOESN'T save the pictures. All you'd get is a matrix of "broken picture link" icons. "Saving the complete page" from your browser saves the (duh) COMPLETE PAGE including all the pictures. As a bonus, you end up with several hundred Maple Story sprites (pictures) you can play around with- just look in the "whatever_files" folders. All the pictures from the three sets of pages are in there.

In other words the pages are GONE. Nothing to put next to your windowed mode Maple. This is a way of SAVING the pages so you can still have them if that happens.
