So, I have 20 miwok pieces, but do I have to buy 20 scrolls to get the chair? Or is one enough? As for the Rings, where do I find the materials used to make them? I've tried hunting stumps for the tree branch, but I can't seem to find any,

hissiYes you need 20 scrolls to get the chairs. When you unseal a Miwok Artifact there is a chance of getting one of the materials for the rings.

You need 20 scrolls and u get a chair For the rings u needa open the artifacts with scrolls and they come from it, if your lucky u get them within the 20 u need for the chair
