" Huge ego boost to the girls when there are multiple guys that like her. That's a major reason why girls doll themselves up: for each other(competition), and guys(the ones that are completely clueless and are at her beck and call and the guys she would be attracted to). @XxCyber-You sound too needy and are just stuck to this "Beatrice"(Read Dante's epic) who is probably chased by a lot of other guys. By becoming jealous, you just look even less attractive.
