Should I max Slash Blast or Soul Summoning? Which and why? =S Help please! Ty!

well, dude, I say you should max slash blast because it will REALLY come in handy when fighting mobs. I plan on keeping soul summoning on lvl 1.

Oh, well, someone told me there is a mobbing skill on 2nd job called "Soul Blade". It's stronger and better distace(?), so no point of maxing slash blast.
