Why is everyone getting banned

I've been off for the last week and a half if not more from maple, i try to log on being all excited for finally getting CK, and it tells me i'm banned for misconduct. what the hell is that supposed to mean i haven't been on to do anything misconducting. and what does that mean, i've been playing maple for 3 years and i've never hacked i dont see why not that i'm really excited to play i get banned for nothing, seems idiotic. sorry to rant i want to hear the banned peoples say on the matter. and whats really sad is me and my Gf of whom i love alot, were gonna make noobs together and raise them up to higher lvls. thats what really gets me down all i want is her to be happy and yet here i am banned and her not banned. Edit: atleast i'll be on for the inflation to go away

Throughout my four years of playing MapleStory on a few accounts owned by me, I have given you a large sum of over $2000, some being charged by PayPal or being redeemed from Nexon Cash Cards. In fact, I charged $60 worth of Nexon Cash to my account this week. I was looking forward to your Cygnus Knights update, as well as the Viscous Hammers, where I would be sending more money to your company. This ban has angered and upset me, as I have done nothing wrong, and now I will not be able to communicate with my buddies, guild, alliance, or family for more than a week, as well as attain a higher level, putting me steps closer to reaching the prestigious 4th job advancement. Hopefully, I will receive a legitimate response soon, and not Nexon's usual "we are looking into the situation." Thank You." Cer-snap, Sadly i couldn't say that i cuss on maple all the time =/. but still i havent been on to cuss so they have no excuse.

I trained for about 2 hours last night, just downloaded the patch, and got the ban notice. I can promise I haven't done anything deserving of a ban.

Welcome to everyone else's world alot of people got banned til the 7th of August uncluding myself the unban time also looks to be the same so we were banned at 5:23 or 5:24 i find that this is an auto ban program gms lazily use and now has gone wrong the end result: many ligitimate players got ban while hackers still roam free

What is the likelihood that thousands were banned within 2 minutes? They would need at least 100-200 Game Masters on shift to pull that off, which I doubt occured.

This sux, I also got banned. Was AFK for some hours and when I got back, I wanted to change my character (on same account), it says im banned to Aug 7th :O this is so BS, didn't even do anything to deserve it.

Don't worry, you're not the only one. I submitted a ticket to nexon (after many unsuccessful tries due to error 401: "server is experiencing difficulties") They should be receiving an insane amount of complaints from many other players regarding not only their unjust bans, but their horrible business practices and neglect. They should be investigating the issue as we speak and drowning in tickets. Considering they are losing a fair amount of players, it wouldn't be surprising if they took some sort of action shortly.
