During lvls 1-10, do you add all the points into str? And at lvl 10, the AP resets like a normal character when you make ur advancement?

the AP works exactly as it does for normal jobs. meaning when you make the adv it resets to the "ideal" stats for that job

Yes, it does. That way, with more strength, comes a better attack range, which equals killing monsters and leveling quicker. xD Before AP resets at level 10, when I made a magician, I'd do a maximum of 1 - 4 dmg in Maple Island.

As a Thunder Breaker my dex was set automatically to 20. Is this normal for pirates? Sorry for my ignorance.
