new theory about the mass bans

i'm not a hacker, nor a scammer. i haven't ks'ed since my level 2x days in 2006. i don't use particularly bad language (kinda hard to, given a censor), and furthermore i haven't even spoken in "all" chat in months (ignoring such necessary statements as "J>APQ"). my average day consists of: login -> train for an hour or 2 in skelegon mini dungeon while i catch up with friends via my buddy list -> amoria party quest -> logoff sound banable? you're right - it isn't. my theory is that nexon employs a rather large number of usless pricks that couldn't run a game properly if their lives depended on it. said useless pricks have 2-3 days to fix this AND compensate me for my (or more accurately, *their) trouble before i take my business elsewhere. i know it's "just a week," but it's a week of punishment for doing absolutely nothing wrong - there are principals at stake here. i urge other victims of this ban to treat it in a similar fashion - let us not forget, in a pay-per-service game such as maplestory: WE are THEIR bosses. if the company has made a decision you disagree with, then you should find another company to patronize. there are countless other online gaming options (and most have far more reasonably priced cash shop items, too). whining in these forums won't make nexon so much as bat an eye. but when they start losing customers and money, results are guaranteed. ~lordtaft

Its possible, some people believe it may be the Maple Leaf Brigade abusing their authority. There is also the possibility that somehow Nexon created an "accident" which started the whole mass banning. Either way, I'm quite disappointed with Nexon's poor treatment to their customers. If they dont post up a notice soon saying that this is all a mistake, theyre going to get drowned by the huge complaints coming their way. I havent been banned, but I'm dreading finding my account banned tomorrow morning. I havent done anything wrong, but some random prick harrassed, defamed, and reported me just because I wouldnt give him MORE free items.

This ^^ I was baned aswell further more at the time I was banned i wasnt even online. The only thing i can think of doing that may have pissed them off is smegaing: Hey GMs start banning hacker guilds like infinity and erchant instead of people who swear, several days beforehand. Mabey they considered it blasphemous or something. I am seriously pissed. They havent even toughed the people who were harrasing me with their dc hacks and sabotaging my cwkpq. ATM Nexon is just banning without actually looking into what the person is being banned for. They also banned several of my friends too, it's getting ridiculous.

I swear, someone in the Maple Leaf Brigade doesn't like leechers..I leeched my self from 92-102 last week, and haven't been on that account for 5 days. I try logging onto it today and I was banned for misconduct ~.~''.Heck, I have 2bil+10k NX on that acc, Now I'm worried I might lose that :/

Yeah, I think it's the Maple Leaf Brigade. I never got banned ever until after they came out. Got banned once[bad smega], twice[apparently another bad smega, but I SWEAR I didn't smega anything bad]. Hoping to get banned thrice after today's smegas. whee

Your whining in this forum which is going to have zero impact and even in Nexons own forums they dont give a dam unless its a serious issue (affects the majority not the minority). Results arnt guarenteed ever, every single petition and agreement that people have made to stop buying NX or wouldnt play for x amount of time have all crashed, burned and done nothing.. All this immature behavior does is hinder those callow enough to take part in it.

I think the people who read your tickets are people who work for Nexon, but are doing their job as reading tickets at home. I had this international student who became a credit card transferrer for a game called Line Rider 2, she basically accepts phone calls and charge "NX" things into peoples accounts. I think this is why they say never to put your maple info in a ticket.
