No. By lift do you mean curl ups? Drop the weights so you can do 3 sets of 8 - 10.

If anything, it will forward your growth. Make sure to have a spotter until you know exactly what you're doing.

IT will make your arms shorter. It has been proven. Myself I have unnaturally long arms, i have to get all my jackets custom made...

You're small as hell to begin with o___o. I'm 5'7 and 140. And, if you're only doing bicep curls, what's the point. You're just going to have hills on your arms, what about the other muscles? .__.

Um, I think you might be able to lift that much without affecting your body.

You should try to do more than one exercise for your arm. There's a reason why it's called biceps it's because it's two muscles. A regular curl up would only work one part of the muscle in order to work the other one, turn your wrist so you can see your knuckles and lift.

It will not stunt your growth, hasn't been proven. Anyways when I curl I sit down and just put my elbow by my thigh and curl. You shouldn't only curl though. It would be very beneficial if you get a gym membership so you can work on your legs, back, chest, lats, and arms.

Absolutely not, not at your age. At a younger age the scare is that since your body is pumping multiple hormones, building testosterone would sort of in a sense suppress your growth hormones. Once, your 15 your in the okay zone to start working out, though Id advice not bulking up too much since it could make you look shorter and please don't take any of those muscle gain supplements. I made the mistake before talking with a nutritionist that said teenagers that do take the supplements ruin their body chemistry, he didn't get into detail and it's something worth looking up if your a user. Exercise is actually one of the variables of growth including stretching,a good diet, and a minimum of 8 hours of sleep per day. Not so much a good picture showing my arms, but I've been curling for awhile and can curl 50's easily. I can do 20 in each set, but I stick to 10-15lb curls since I have an issue of losing flexibility with buffness and more girls like ripped, in my experience: http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/4051/around9295582.jpg (imageshack) I also work out 5-7 times a week at WoW(Work Out World, lols). I'm also 5'9 and 165 lbs(It's mostly muscle, I'd show more better pictures if you'd like and my height is genetically though I've already surpassed my mom and dad)

www.bodybuilding.com Use that site, and no, you wont go short because of dumbells, just do it properly. If your short, you actually grow faster (in looks anyways)
