Things to consider if you've been banned.

I think people don't know why they're getting banned, so they're trying to come up with ideas as to why, and when they don't realize what they might have done to deserve it (Hopefully they put up a notice saying why on the website to prevent whatever actions that have caused these bans to happen again), not getting feedback as to why you were banned is really frustrating and confusing, so people are probably upset and looking for answers, when no answers are given by the game company, it's only natural to feel upset at them, so people will probably incline towards looking to them for blame. Most likely, people are doing something or have done something that is frowned upon without realizing it. Yes, it's not fair that you were banned without being told what happened, if you played a game and were just killed every five minutes without being told, that's similar to what's happening here. If you're looking for answers, here are a few: NX cash has nothing to do with it. Nexon is not scheming to use up people's cash shop items, this is a silly rumor that paranoid people start because they're upset over being banned when they have time based cash shop items, it's only natural to want to get the most for your money, being denied what you paid for is part of the frustration that spawns these rumors. It isn't fair, but this should be more incentive to be careful with what you're doing in game, cash items are not a "get out of jail free" card. The Maple Brigade may or may not have anything to do with it, but to be upset at them is silly, the only power they have is to flag other users for inspection. They do not ban anyone, they are not out for grudges, they can not be a player in any of the worlds they inspect. They're like a searchlight, when they catch you, they just pull you into a position where the GMs can see you, it's ultimately their decision to ban you or not. I'm betting there are a lot of people that don't realize many uses of the word "Noob" will probably be considered as rude behaviour. I suggest you calm down, and do something to take your mind off this for now. Nothing is going to change that people will be banned, and will continue to be banned, it's not like the user abuse policy is just for show. If you can't stand it, stop playing the game for your own health. People get WAY too stressed over this game and turn it too much into work. It's supposed to be fun, people are supposed to be happy interacting with others, but harassment situations have become all too common. Relax, and go do something to be happy. It's possible that they have logs of events that have taken place, conversation logs, perhaps. There are so many people that play, there's no way they can get through it all at once. It may take a long while, people could be getting banned for things they've done a long time ago.

The people who've resently been banned have done nothing wrong. It seems as if nexon was going "inny minny miny moe" and just banned people all trigger happy like. =( And if what you stated above about the "Rude behavior, looting, kill stealing, sexual joke, cursing", why wasn't I or some others banned also? I curse just as much as my friend does, and only he was banned, plus he's not a jerk to people so he's not: rude, a looter, a kser, and only makes "sexual jokes" in guild chat and it's usually related to just "that's what she said" jokes.

Simple, the GMs are -human- They can't go and in a single sweep gather up -everybody- who has ever done something wrong. Some people are going to slip through the cracks, maybe they'll get caught later, maybe not. "The people who've resently been banned have done nothing wrong." Do you have any proof of this? How do you know that they are innocent? How do you know who is telling the truth and who is lying? Who thinks what they do is right when another person thinks they're wrong? Can you read the minds of the GMs and tell me why each and every specific person was banned? Nobody knows the reasons, that doesn't mean there -wasn't- a reason.

I'm not saying what people do or do not deserve, but do you honestly think that just because someone says that they're innocent means they've done nothing wrong? It's not up to me. Think about it, if they didn't do anything wrong, why would they be banned? Or are you going to give me just another one of those "The people at Nexon are just picking people out at random to (insert conspiracy theory here)"? I'm not saying people have or have not been wronged, all I'm saying is things don't happen for a reason. There may have been a misconception, but people are always going to complain when something that they don't like happens.
