Crossbowman or Gunslinger?

This is not a versus thread. I am simply trying to get the oppinion of the community on which of these characters I should try to push to third and possibly fourth job. I currently have a lv 46 Gunslinger and a lv 50 Crossbowman. I enjoy both about equally. The Gunslinger is on Bera and the Crossbowman is on Kradia. Both are GMS. Which one should I play? Oh, those are my two highest characters, so they both are going unfunded. Edit: I also want to know why. Also, how do you add a poll?

Crossbowman definitely. If you think training to that level is hard, you're definitely not gonna make it with your GS. I don't think you can add a poll when the thread is already made.

Xbows are stronger always. If every Xbow was as well funded as their counterparts, THey would do 25ks with SE strafe, More than a well funded Corsair.

I think Xbowmen are themed more around mobbing, while Gunslingers are themed more around 1v1.

I agree. I have a lvl 60 low STR GS (30 base STR) and my atk range is still quite low (almost as low as my lvl 36ish BW Page).

Well both of them are great characters to continue with minimum funding, it mostly depends on you though. What do you like better? the playing style of a gunslinger or a crossbowman. At 4th job Corsairs have high DPM and are great at bossing and Snipers have powerful skills like pierce that do 200k damage at lvl1 in 1 hit.

I recently hit outlaw and i highly suggest it. Im only lv 71 but im already doing over 2x the damage i did as a gunslinger. I find the mobility very fun as well.
