Ok so I relay need a new laptop the one I have right now is falling apart, its missing keys, it has a blue line down the middle of the screen, its slower then a snail(a green one not red or blue) on a turtle stuck in a pit of tar ad molasses(I think you get the point?). I and not very good with computers so I have to ask what computer stats would a computer need to play maple well (like with no lag) and how much would it cost?

But a laptop with windows vista, and RESEARCH on it to make sure you don't have problems with applications and such. I have been using Vista since before service pack 1 came out. The only problem I ever had was with my modem drivers. Downloading an updated one was easy as heck. People complain too much about Vista. OT: Get a laptop from a good brand name like Acer. Dual core should be the standard now and 3GB of ram is a must. A decent computer (IMO) should be around 400~600 dollars.

What is your price range? @KradiaShot: Um, an Acer or Asus cost many different prices. You can get 3000$ Asus laptops...

Don't Buy HP. I have dealt with a HP that had a permanent overheating motherboard on a laptop, 3 motherboards burning out, wireless hardware dead, and customer service that told me to make my own format disk! >_<. Any computer these days will play MS. Even a netbook for 200$. Although I don't like the small screens (hurts eyes after a while).

Pretty much any mainstream laptop will run MS at over 70 frames, no problem. Or you can get a Gateway P7805u FX , it'll run CoD4 on good settings without any visual lag :P
