Do you have your fingers on the correct keys when you type? or do you just type with the way you got used to with the keyboard? & Does anyone know if typing with fingers on the correct keys are important or not ?

I just type the way I've always had, those typing programs did nothing to help me type "better" either.

Well two years of "FINGAZ ON THE HOME KEYS" from my teacher kindof forced me to. Except I don't use my pinkies much.

I pretty much use my middle and pointer fingers when typing short stuff like this. If something involves a lot of typing, I'll go to home row.

The home row stuff confused me, I just visualize the keyboard in my mind and then hit the keys with whichever finger that's closest.

Thought this was going to be about how we type our words correctly or with massive amounts of slang where numbers appear as letters. anyways I have honestly no idea what the proper way to type is. I just type how I type

Lol looking at this thread, I can kinda point out who's trying really hard to type properly. The ones with bad grammar, are the ones who're trying to type everything properly. The ones whose grammar are well put, those are the ones that type proper on a regular basis.

Spelling is occasionally a problem, however. But, that's what spellcheck is for, I suppose.
