dash on a separate key?

Instead of having dash activate when i double tap an arrow key, is there a way to set it on another key on the keyboard? As if it were any other skill.

Yes, you can put on a key and then press it. It'll activate and last for the duration or until you move, then make a turn/stop(?) But it'll always work when double tapping an arrow button. It also works in midair, not sure about ropes and ladders, I've forgotten. You can cast it in midair then get the boost when you land.

how do I set it on a separate key? I can't find the icon. And noooo at the "it will still activate when double tapped"

it doesnt matter if you hot key it to another key it will still be used when you double tap left or right.

And noooo at the "it will still activate when double tapped"" go to set keys and drag dash in there... btw it is sometimes useful to use dash on hotkey cause you can use the extra jump without it canceling on u after you double tap
