Now ive looked all over for a guide for EPQ and I couldnt find it anywhere, when I did a search on basil all I got was a broken thread, so I decided to write my own, this is my first guide, so if its not up to your standards, please be easy on me, or dont look at it, here it is Information on EPQ EPQ (or EFPQ) is the Ellin Forest Party Quest meant for levels 45~55, and you can have a party of 3~5. Ellin forest is what Victoria island used to be many years ago. So you are probably wondering, if its the old Victoria island how do travel back in time? Well first go to the top of Helios tower in Ludibrium. Then go inside that big time machine thinger, and there you are, in Ellin Forest. You cannot talk to anyone except the potion store guy, and Ellin for the pq. The pq is located on the far right side of town. Just keep going until you see a fairy called Ellin. Before you start MAKE SURE, you have a lot of hp/mp pots, and are fully recharged, there is nothing more annoying to me than someone who wont help because I have no mp or I forgot to rech also make sure to grab some holy waters Sooo, now that thats out of the way, you can now assemble your party. Thieves pretty decent to have in a party, ive found that bandits at this point are dealing some pretty nice damage, and haste is always a nice thing to have, although they have no mob attacks, but its not completely necessary Warriors Rage/HB are both very useful in this pq, HB especially. Warriors can deal out some nice damage, and are pretty good in this pq, but are melee which is bad for the boss. Mages Clerics are almost a necessity for this, the boss can do up to 700 damage to the entire party in one attack, so its nice to have a healer. As for the wizards, they dont quite do as much as other classes, but i/l is nice for freezing on the one stage Bowmen Ive found that bowmen arent quite as good as sins, and dont have much for buffs to offer for the party, but they do have mob attacks which is a big plus. Pirates Brawlers are really really good for this, since some of their attacks have extreme knock back, its really helpful on some stages, and sooo powerfull, and slingers are..mehslingers So now that you have your party you can start the pq Stage 1 You start off by walking into a portal, where Ellin uses her magic to turn you into . Err interesting looking characters warriors look like morons, mages look like gay hippies, pirates/thieves are some ninja chick, and bowmen are turned into a cute bow chick. These transformations dont effect how you fight, your stats or anything, they just make you look weird. So anyways the first stage actually starts now, all you have to do is kill all the monsters and walk in the portal, easy, and straightforward, they arent even that tough. Stage 2 Ok heres where it starts to get interesting, you have to lure the rock worms, into the middle, where there is a pool, and kill them there, they then drop a poison, and if you get it in the po

Stage 4 : You should mention that the monsters don't die. An easy tip to figure out how to catch them is to hit them once, then try to catch. Hit twice, then try to catch. Once you found out how many hits it takes you, it's MUCH easier. Stage 6 : The boss also drops scrolls. All 60% I think. I looted 2 Claw ATT and a Dagger ATT from it. And the marble at the end that you drop at the fountain starts a rainfall. And if you watch your HP/MP you'll see it's recovered at a faster rate. And the Glittering earrings are 2/2/2/2. Not sure on Def. I wanna say it's the same. >_<

sleepyxdudeFor stage 4, from what I could tell, you need to deal somewhere between 4000 - 5000 damage in order to be able to capture them. if you go over that amount, their hp gets "reset" I need more confirmation on this though

About stage 4, the monsters each have about 7500hp. All you have to do is to weaken then and then catch them. Dealing up to 4000-6000 should be enough, and when they die, they automatically respawn at the same location with the same amount of hp.

Hooray, an EPQ guide that is actually here... lol A few suggestions though... First off, fire mages with fire arrow can be helpful on the boss, since they can do enough damage to knock it back, which is great if you don't have any warriors or brawlers to do this for you. It takes about 2K damage to knock back the final form though, so it may not help out so much unless they're level 50+ and probably lukless with some good equips. Basically, they can do in a pinch, but as usual other classes are typically better for actually killing off the boss. *rolls eyes* Also, the reward at the end is 52K exp, not 54K. You might want to list the requirements for accomplishing an "A" and "B" rank for people who go wondering that. "B" Rank - record time of 20 minutes or better, 30+ total attempts, 50% or higher complete rate "A" Rank - record time of 17 minutes or better, 50+ total attempts, 70% or higher complete rate, have made your own regular Altaire Earrings You have to take 20 fragments and a "B" rank to Ellin for the regular earrings. You have to take 30 more fragments, an "A" rank, and a pair of regular earrings to Ellin for the glittering earrings. And... I would very much like to know if there's a method for quickly finding the way out of the maze. It usually doesn't take much longer than a minute going at random, but it'd be nice to know if there's a logical way through.

For the portal maze, use the method: bottom, if not right It always works for me
