Anyone else feel like maple is a waste of time?

Ive played maple for over 3 years and nothing good has come out of it. All the messos ive had are now gone because of my addiction to scrolling. I no longer have my NL which i have worked on for a good 2 year+. With all the time ive played maplestory its become more of an addiction then having fun. I could have got a job and made some money, instead i sat on my ass up to 10 hours a day on school days playing this stupid game. I regret playing maplestory.

Yea we can all say this game is a bit of a waste on way or another.. big or small... I mean sometimes I feel ashamed at myself for playing this as there is no real gross "profit" in your life for playing it. Even if I get high lvl (not happening EVER) I'm not gonna be on it like a couple years from now.... but yea... im rambling. I agree.

the same could be said of any form of entertainment it becomes a waste of time only under two conditions: 1) you no longer find it fun or entertaining 2) you are neglecting your other responsibilities

Usually, we are only supposed to entertain ourselves when we are bored or have gratuitous free time. Unfortunately, Maple Story persuades us to play even when we shouldn't be playing. =/

Maple is life. /sarcasm. But really, the point of maple is entertainment/fun, which you apparently are not having. Go live your life. @Above, that was a redundant, retarded thing to say. Of course its a waste of time. you get nothing from it. its pointless, no matter what lv u are or how rich u are. in a matter of years, you will quit and awhile afterwards you will regret wasting your only childhood playing such a crap game for 10 year olds.

To think you could get away from irl problems with gaming, maple story just gives you another "life" to worry about. >_>
