You have an entire new CONTINENT, new monsters, new quests, new job advancements, new skills, new drops, etc. etc. etc. If that isn't complicated enough, add in Maker- which comes with dozens MORE new items, MORE new quests, and so on. That this patch is ONLY eight hours is most likely a very optimistic underestimate.

I remember 3rd Anniversary patch last year was 12 hours. Then extended another 12 hours haha
