hey basiler im a lvl 123 drk and i have been considering hp washin for zerk. now ive read a couple of guides and i get the gist of hp washing. but my question is why do all these guides tell you to put a point in hp, take one outa mp, then put it into str/dex/luk/int, but not right back into hp? i mean the only downside i see in this is that you might use an extra ap reset at the end but is taht all? does it glitch up when u add it back into hp again? plz help Edit: ok i think i might be misinterpreted a bit, basically i wanted to use the 5 points i gain just now (cuz i just lvled) to get my mp to its minimum and not wait til i have to lvl to wash again. basically this is waht i want to do: 1 - add 1 ap to hp 2 - minus 1 from mp 3 - add it back on to hp wanna know if that will work thats all ~ PS ive been dexless since i first made this acc so powerwashing isnt an option for me

Does any warrior class actually need to HP wash? o_O I thought they have 98375935435 hp already

you can't move straight from MP to HP because they share the same pool of points and the game keeps track of the pool if you add one point into HP and MP you can move one out. If you added one to HP (+1) and then take one out of MP (-1) you get back to and even point pool. However if you take the point in MP to HP you get -2 (putting more points into the pool that you don't have)

i dont get what you mean killerfan why would it be -2?

I rather Power Wash than HP Wash if I were you.

think about it this way each stat has thier own 'hole' except HP and MP which is shared. you cant take out points that arent in there (cant go below 4 base stats or your minimum HP/MP) basically you need to put a point into the HP/MP hole (HP in this case) to be able to take back out of that slot (MP in this case)

Okay, HP and MP are the same category. So when you put 1 point into either HP or MP, that category gets +1. You cannot take out points from the category if it is at 0, Which is why you put points into HP, (makes it +x) And when you level, take x points of of mp, and put it back into your normal AP stats.

So if I'm reading this right... It should work like this HP/MP + 0 STR + 0 After leveling, and adding points in lets say you add one point into HP and the rest into STR so it would be like this... HP/MP +1 STR + 4 Than after you wash..you take one point away from MP making it go back to 0 and add that one point into STR right? So in the end it would still be HP/MP +0 STR + 5 o-o...I think ...I got it wrong, care to correct me?

LeeHyun said: "i dont get what you mean killerfan why would it be -2?" well its because you're taking out a point from the HP/MP pool which if you put a point into HP has a shared pool of one between them and take it out of MP which will put you back at the theoretical 0 (the game doesn't change the counter until you've finished the transfer) which when you add to other stats ends with you being back at 0 but by placing the point back into the HP/MP pool into HP you now added a point that never existed

Oh, this made me understand the process much better. Thanks guys. :o
kirayamato26 07/28/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
kirayamato26This is what you do: 1. Calculate Minimum MP and figure out how many points you can reset (each point will reset 4MP) 2. Level up, add however many points you can reset from MP into HP, then reset from MP and into STR 3. Repeat Well, that's to my understanding. o.O
Skrato 07/28/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
You CAN do that, that's kind of double washing, but you sacrifice damage. The best way is to: 1. Level up and add AP into HP 2. Reset points from excess MP into STR
