| Well as many of you are aware, nexon has released an item called maple life, which gives for like fifteen bucks a brand new level 30 character. This rewards lazy players who would rather buy their levels than earn them. I have an idea which could replace the maple life item in the cash shop with something which does the same thing, but rewards actually earning your exp. It's called exp share. Basically, you can only have one per account, and whoever holds the item in their inventory gets a portion of the exp earned by the other characters on that account. The amount of exp awarded is dependednt on the ration of the training character's level and the character with the exp share's level. If the levels are equal, the character with the exp share gets half of the exp gained by the other character. if that character is only half the level, it gets 1/4th of the exp. This way its easy to make new characters, but you still earn it. (side note, since some will question this, yes the exp given to one character is subtracted from that given to the other. For instance, if you kill a monster for 1000exp, and the exp shared character gets 1/2 your exp, each character will get 500exp.) edit: yes i got the idea from pokemon, and i stole the name. sue me. It's still a great feature, and they should add an item like it. The name is a stand in till a better one is found. more edit: there could be a limit of like 10 levels gained on the character before you ave to log on to that character, that way a person can't leech their character to third job in one sitting. |
