Diamond: Inflation or Deflation?

Hey guys, do you think diamonds will inflate or deflate after the CK patch? I was just collecting diamonds, but I'm not sure whether I would profit from them or not.

IMO, I think they will deflate, Since almost everyone has been stockpiling them like crazy. After the event, the markets will be flooded with diamonds, and even though the demand is high, people will lower their prices to up their competition

They have billions to spend, and it could cost them billions to upgrade maybe 2 wep.att with their pro equips. Then there is maker, which gives 3 atk for only 400-500m, why not spend on that? I'm talking about the rich people of GMS, not the average mapler.

Give or take two weeks after the release of the maker skill the price will be "moderate."

I dont really care, but.. Right now in Mardia they went up to about 1mil already (they used to be 100k each), so I would assume an inflation. I don't think I'll sell mine, because I want attack on my weapons ;).

They drop mad in apq and alot of monsters drop ores

Deflate at first because of it being so hard to get your hands on some then sell them, then they'll go up... WAAAAAY up. Then it'll be easy money.... EDIT: I'm going to sell mine cause I'm a mage... I don't need wep atk... I need M.Atk! >:D

Maybe most of them, but definitely not all of them, some people actually have a life. Some people like me would rather go outside, then stay in and research about how I can make money 6 monthes from now.

They dont even need to research news travel fast when ur a pro merchanter or have merchant friends/buddies EDIT: meant guildies/buddies merchants work together to control the prices so they spread news to each other because 1person can not control the entire economy

All it will take is the first person to get online after the patch and run around saying "S> DIAMONDS 5M" And then everyone will sell them for that price.

If everyone's dumbass sells it RIGHT AFTER THE PATCH, deflation will occur, because there's gonna be so much diamonds into circulation. Its only gonna take a while for everyone to realize that you need 100 for 3 attack though...so inflation.
