Tbh, my expectations were wrong. The book was better. More romance, less action. o0o0o0o, Emma Watson.

It was disappointing. I hated how it just ended suddenly.

The movie sucked. They strayed away from the plot and focused more on the romance. At the end with Dumbledore's death was kind of sudden. Where was the battle? It just looked like Malfoy spent the whole year planning how death eaters were to enter Hogwarts, and once they do, the death eaters just happen to find Dumbledore and kill him, and go burn Hagrid's house down, which they can just do from the outside. Lol? i mean wtf was that? They hate Hagrid that much?

And harry would never just stand there while 3 death eaters were standing dumbledore down.

it was k skipped too much so it may be hard to follow for some and it was too short - everything was too sudden the importance of the half blood prince wasn't stressed enough like in the book it was too short those were the only bad things about it

I was looking forward to the final battle seen... which never occurred. It was a great film, but it lacked action. I like how they showed Draco fixing the vanishing cabinet, you know, experimenting with the birds and apple. JK Rowling didn't really explain what he was doing with it in the book. No apparition lessons or did I miss that? I took a bathroom break halfway through the movie. o_o;

I just thought that wasn't needed.

Well, I thought it was decent despite all the talk about how much they left out from the book. And you also have to take into consideration that this is the 2nd to last movie in the saga so it was their last chance to put in some humor and romance before going onto the epic finale.

and they left out a lot of the memories. And what the rest of the horcruxes are...

It was decent, but not that good. Here are the bad things about it, in no particular order: -The ending was too rushed. Compared to the rest of the movie, it seemed to go really quickly. When Harry Potter went to Dumbledore, I thought it was to plan/talk, not to already go to the cave! -They took out Dumbledore's grave scene and replaced it with a lame mourning scene. Though it was okay, it didn;t show Dumbledore's wand being buried with him. This is a very important part in the Deathly Hallows, and they will have to present the information that the wand is with Dumbledore in a much less Foreshadowy way. -The scene where the Burrow gets burned down sucked completely. WHY would the Death Eater's make a ring of fire around the house, if when Bellatrix could have killed Harry and Ginny she didn't? This means that it wasn't for keeping anybody from helping them. Also, the running through the tall grass, etc, was way too suspenseful for the lame turning around and setting the Burrow on fire which happened. The lamest part is that it isn't SUPPOSED to get burnt down. Heck, in the 7th book, harry goes back to the Burrow. if they say something lame like "Em....we...uh...rebuilt it!", I will facepalm. -They took out the final battle scene, which I was really looking forward to! They could've made it really cool and amazing, but they completely scrapped it. This made the ending really slow and boring. -When Snape reveals that he is the Half-Blood Prince, there is so little drama and suspense. It seems that nobody cares at all. It is supposed to be presented in a dramatic way, making it worthy to be the title of the book. In the movie, it was like an afterthought. -Malfoy's evil plan lacked any point whatsoever. WOW, the Death Eater's finally got into the school and all they did was temporarily mess up the Great Hall and burn down Hagrid's hut. Amazing....In the book, they get in and there is a big fight. Here, nobody even confronted them and it seemed that the big plot Malfoy was part of for the whole year was all for nothing and was way too easy. -I was expecting another good Quidditch match, like in the 1st or 2nd movie, and all I got were some shots of Ron protecting the gates. Wow.....Not to mention that some of the saves looked really fake and computer generated (Which they almost surely were). -Too much of the movie was about the teenage love of Ron/Hermione/harry, etc...Almost no parts of it were scrapped from the book, while the whole content was grealy reduced, increasing the % of the movie about this. Though funny, the amount of it ruined the action-packed feeling. -They never said that Ron and Hermione were Prefects and that Harry was Captain of the Quidditch team. They showed Harry at the tryouts as if he was, but this was never stated, and it seemed they tok it for granted that everyone knew. It is also a shame they skipped the Prefect thing. It is supposed to be the group thing which Harry is left out of. -Hermione's hair sucked! It was barel
