Oh and, a word of advice, make sure you know everything about upcoming stuff on MS, not only will it keep you updated, but you will have an insight about how prices will inflate/deflate. Example: I used 150m (and counting) on buying Diamonds, so far I have 500+. In the next patch, diamonds will be more than 1m each (they add attack; see here for more details), and I bought most of mine for 300/30k. Assuming the lowest possible prices (which is 2m from what I've deducted), I will make about 800m+ profit. Easy. Merchanting takes patience. No patience = No mesos.

1. Obtain money somehow 2. find something you may be able to make profit off of -this could be all sorts of things. Just look around you. -Event items are VERY expensive at the beginning of an event and cheap by the end. See: every Maple Anniversary ever -Some updates will cause huge price hikes (such as the Maker skill and crystals; expect those to go up in price) so stock up on something if you think it's going to be worth more later. -In cases like the above, you could spend a few mil and make hundred millions... even billions! -Know your prices, and search the FM. For example, I found a Stance 20 book for 1 mil. (usually 15-20 mil) That's a lot of profit right there! Too bad I used it and it exploded...... 3. When you have a lot of money, you can do these things on larger scales. Some people like to hoard hundreds of expensive scrolls and wait for the prices to rise on them. It's generally best to invest your mesos in items that will usually have a high level of demand, rather than just having pure mesos. The market fluctuates like crazy in MS, and raw meso values can go up and down like crazy. 100 mil might be worth a lot back then but it doesn't seem to be so much now... 4. Try scrolling items and selling for profit? 5. MTS prices are generally wacky. I've been finding all sorts of deals in there... really, you can make a few mil off of 221 NX. But Nexon's changing the MTS tax so now that's going down the toilet.

putiiii said: " I should have done this. =/" You should be happy you didnt do that... the ores are pretty easy to find because of Apq and low level monsters have a really high drop rate... that guy just wasted TIME and MONEY for pretty much nothing.
