help with mark of heroism quest

Hi guys i just reached hermit a few days ago after a long time lol. anyway im looking for decent exp to grind out and windraiders at crossroads is too slow for me so I wanted to get to lower ascent and train there. Ive tried the jump quest like 10times to no avail. I also tried to do the quests to get the mark of heroism, but when i try to hunt stormbreaker badges either i get bored or the elder wraiths kill me. Is there an easier way? Or do i have to deal with it? thanks
