Hey fellow bowmen! So, why are you a bowman? I became a bowman a years ago because i thought arrow rain looked reaallllyy cool. But then 4th job came out...Hurricane is what motivates me to train, and become a bowmaster. I've been playing on this character for almost 3 years and i'm level 116, four more to go! What really kills me inside is the fact that there are people out there that spend hundreds of dollars on nx and are rich that make a bowman one day, and a week later they are bowmaster because of leeching. I've worked hard for years to reach my goal, and they kind of 'cheat' their way through with money and leeching. Also, in a few weeks we'll be seeing level 100- wind archers showing off their hurricane being all like "hohoho i has hurricane at lvl 80, hohoho" but eh, what can we do. At least we still have Sharp Eyes! (yay for still being wanted in parties) Edit: My bad about the hurricane at lvl80,

[b]I made an archer from the beginning because i thought they we're awesome, plus i don't like close range battle. Once i saw strafe, made me wanna become a ranger even more, and now hurricane just tops it all. Still not motivated enough to train though, once i hit 40+ i get bored T_T[/b]

Well no one will be saying they have hurricane at 80...they dont get it till 100 o.o.Also im a BM cause well i love bows and ranged classes and throwing stars just wasnt for me =P not much of a close ranged person had my archer for the past 3-4years xD

1. -cough- 65k nx? -cough- 2. wind archers get hurricane in lvl 100, not 80 ;3 3. well, leech is the easy way out. reasons : *my il mage bored me. I was a famous truck and I hated it. *I had this noob archers of mine I already quit. *I had a bow scroll ._.

1. Hurricane is 80% of your power, as others said. 2. No SE. It sucks. 3. I THINK leveling on a Cygnus from 1-120 is the same as 1-145. Not sure. Also, Crossbowmen are cheap, and I didn't even bother looking at 3rd or 4th 'til I got there. Sure, I knew some skills, but just the general information.

First off, research a bit more before you rant. You need to be levels 100 and 110 to receive your 2 4th job skills as a Cygnus. Edit: I became an Xbowman because it's one of the only jobs I haven't tried yet. I/L, Cleric, F/P all bored me by early 2nd job, though that was during early early MapleStory. I remade a F/P and got it to 9x, but I was following the explosion build the whole time so... Sins and bandits were the same deal for the mages. My hunter got to level 4x, I got bored of it though. Spearman got to 4xs, Page 4xs, Fighter 5xs. Gunslinger I got to 40. Brawler I got to 1xs, then forgot about it. Finally, I made an Xbowman. This'll be my 2nd char that passes level 60. :D

after i saw lord of the rings and saw legolas that made me a bowman right there. but i my frist attemp at a bowman failed becuz i put like 50 ap in hp/mp/luk and int. i had mroe str than dex. and no funding watsoever. later i become a spearman and sin which failed evre more becuz i got hacked at the 40-50s. so right nowi am a hunter that is lvl 64 and almost at thrid job. NO STOPPING NOW

My warrior ( level 16 or so )got his ass kicked by stumps, and the whole melee thing wasn't really appealing, so I deleted him. Then I took a break for a month or so, and when for some reason I decided to give the game another try, I made a bowman because; -A kind archer fellow helped me how to get to Perion to get my job advancement with warrior ( we walked there from henesys :D that was my first epic adventure ) -I thought I'd save money on pots since I was constantly struggling with mesos on the warrior -...that's pretty much it? I never saw that many archers back then. I only read about the game at some gameFAQ's guide.. No regrets
