When/Should i Cap my Str? :O

Well, i was just wondering since i didn't go str-less, if or when i should cap my str to be Low-str . Someone mentioned something about getting to where you can wield the lvl 70 bow or something, but i want so second input :] Help? Ideas? Let me here it. :O

Well, for my ranger, I'm stopping it at 75. A zhelm (15) + MoN (5) and a 10 STR/23 DEX overall will get me enough STR for a nisrock :3

Cap it wherever you feel like to wield the bow you want. Most people shoot for the level 90+ bows (Meti, Nisrocks, Shiner, Timeless? Reversal?) but some have well scrolled Arunds that allow them to stop their base STR <50, even. Take into account items that you have/will probably get in the future that aren't really interchangeable; items such as a Zakum helm or a Mark of Naricain (until multiple egged HT pendants screw us all over). You should consider your other equipment as well (stuff like your cape, shoes, overall/top+bottom), but as you gain more wealth you'll be constantly upgrading. An example is myself: I currently have 68 base STR, 97 total STR and plan on the Meti as my final group of bows. I have a 16 STR Zhelm, 5 STR MoN. My cape adds no STR, my overall gives +6 STR w/o having been scrolled for STR and if I ever want to upgrade, I have a couple of 6 STR base overalls I bought just browsing the FM for other items. I'm currently using archer shoes that add +2 STR, so if I ever am able to happen upon some Facestompers, I'll be alright as I'll have the minimum STR requirement - 95 - to wield a Metus.

Most of it is logic, which I'm sure I don't need to tell you. Galatae summed it up very well, with the equips you will probably be getting ( zhelm, mon, ect). But I had a friend who decided to finish with a lvl 70 103 attack Gold Hinkle. Lets say if you have zhelm and mon, that's 20 str. You need 75 for a gold hinkle. So without any other equips that's 55 base str. However, if he decided to end with a lvl 80 bow, maybe 110 attac (if he could find it), the increase of 8 atk would greatly outshine the extra 10 dex he would loose being able to equip the new bow. Of course, this all includes money. If you don't have money don't plan on getting a very good attack high lvl bow. My lvl 80 fire arund 105 attack cost me 50m . Just use logic really. I decided to go to 100 with ordinary bowman equips for fun, and earn a zhelm myself. I'll just buy ap resets.
