regarding "would i be a good mod?" threads

The simple fact is that if you make a thread asking to be a mod, then your attitude is not correct for modship. Good mods are the ones who take the job for the duty of moderating the forum, not for the position of power. If you make a thread trying to get attention for yourself as a mod candidate, all it will do is count against your already slim chances of becoming a mod. In order to become a mod, the best things you can do to raise your chances are to be helpful, respectful, well-known (you have to be noticed at some point to be considered for mod, but don't over do it). Most importantly, you need to report, because your reports reflect your comprehension of the rules, and your responsibilty toward taking the action you can to enforce them. So next time you decide to make a "I'd be a good mod" thread, think about the above points before hitting the "submit button".

Well maybe some people dont want to be mods, they just want to know if they would make a good one. :P

When I say it, I am usually joking. This thread is really unnecessary since MrBasil won;t even make someone a mod just because they are popular(which I disagree with, but I have to go with that).
