• BASIL NOTE : This is the 'letter of flame' I am going to post on the Nexon Forums once I am finished it. I figured I'd post it here as a preview to Basil to check over my work, correct errors and such. Yes It's long, there's just THAT much to flame for. I figured I'd write as grammatically correct as I could, even though I am quite angry. I decided to not send this as a ticket, as I know it won't be read, or it would get read and just get an automated response like "We're looking into it!" (see my closed tickets for proof of this). Anyways, the title of this thread reflects the content of the thread. I tried to think of a decent title, but this was the only title I feel would get looked at (I decided against harsh remarks and attacking, as that will get me nowhere.) Now that my introduction is aside, let us start with the main body shall we? DISCLAIMER : I have read the Nexon Forum Terms of Service. I have not broken any of the rules, however this thread can obviously get locked or deleted without hesitation, but it may be in your best interest to look at this. _____ First off. The Maple Trading system tax hike. Honestly, did you guys even think this one through? Lemme go copy the notice you said on the Nexon website. "Due to many players using the MTS as storage, the MTS has experienced higher than expected traffic and has become a burden on the game's performance. In order to reduce these 'bogus' listings on the MTS we are raising the base transaction fee from 100 NX to 500 NX. However, to encourage legitimate use of the service, we are lowering the percentage transaction fee from 10% to 7%. What does this mean for you as a MTS user?" Hm. Lemme read this first sentence again. "Due to many players using the MTS as storage, the MTS has experienced higher than expected traffic and..." A little ways down now. "In order to reduce these 'bogus' listings on the MTS we are raising the base transaction fee from 100 NX to 500 NX" Wait. So let me get this straight.. when I run out of room in my etc inventory, and when I put my monster drops in the MTS for about 1,000,000nx... this brilliant idea will make it actually cost 1,070,500 instead of 1,100,100! S> two hundred Skelesaurus Neckbone, 1,070,500 nx! Huh, that made a huge difference. Ah but now I want to go buy 40 charms of the undead, I'm in Ludibrium and don't want to bother anybody. What? Fourty charms of the undead are 607nx? Bah, I'll just go hunt for them then or ask a friend. Heck because the prices for quest items are so high, I won't bother MTSing anything as I'd have to sell them for really low for an

You said 'Shooking' about 10th paragraph, I'm not flaming just double checking his work. NOTE: my paragraphs count as each line, whether it be a one line sentence then a space. I read the whole thing and i agree with iFelix edit: why does nexon even incorporate tax into maple? tax in rl is used for bulding streets and stuff like that, or paying for school where does meso and nx tax go?

I think because this has the feel of "harassing" Nexon, they'll delete it instead of keeping it around. Not to say you shouldn't speak your mind, I commend you for taking the time to appropriately vent your issues with them, yet they won't like it.

Nice =P i agree that nexon is making that dumb tax crap they should remove the whole damn thing all together with the meso tax reduction also! They should also make the NX items Sellable for 25% of the nx back or have it forever cause newer things are always gonnna come but ur space in ur inventory isnt. Also put a pause timer on those damn items jesus! Its lame how they expire when your not using them! it seems a bit unfair to the players and GMs should really have an SS and proof to show to the players where they are banned and what for not an automated System! It also says WEB SITES THAT ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH NEXON will be searched and banned from or somthing like that bascially if ur in a pr0n site u can be banned 0.o or even BASIL MARKET!

I read the whole thing. I wouldn't consider it professional, and I would hardly consider it effective. Look at it from an indifferent and unbiased point of view, and make your writing follow suit. It will look more professional, and it will be taken more seriously.
