Have YOU prepared for Maker?

As you all probably know by now, the Maker skill is coming out at the end of the month with Knights of Cygnus and (groan) Vicious Hammer. Since you can make super awesome stuffz on Maker with the help of jewels and minerals, there will probably be massive inflation of the two types of items after the patch, making them expensive and hard to get. My question is, have YOU prepared for Maker? Right now, I have 73 steel plates, 45 diamonds, and 50 sapphires in my inventory. Hopefully, that will make me super rich. 0_0

Nobody sees the problem with this? Everyone has stocked up on hundreds/thousands of diamonds. It's a well known fact that when there is a lot of competition among buyers with a single item, then the price of that item will decrease until it hits a point where the buyer and seller are both happy with the price. In other words, the competition (as seen quite clearly in this thread) puts you at the mercy of buyers, who may not be willing to purchase diamonds for Xmil a piece. Oh, but this is maple story, where the buyers are all idiots with loads of cash who never care about getting a good deal, so the rules of basic economics don't apply. (edit: This last part was sarcastic. 8D)

Really though, everyone's already ready, there will be an inflation then a deflation, don't expect your diamonds to be sold quickly for a high price.

Rofl, Dream on kid. :] You'll never make that much, You MIGHT make up to 1.5B. anyways People have stacked up so much, the prices will surely go up but ever since like so much % of the pop already saved up people would not really need diamonds anymore, they have them already. There will be no need for them, also I think they will not raise over 1M ea, also I doubt people are going to use this skill so much, specially with the price range you guys are thinking about people would just be like, nevermind it's not worth it imo. Oh well, people are already like LETS sell those diamonds now already so people are stupid enough to think they would make profit afterwards, why else do you think they're 1M already? They will just lower down, the competition between selling will be hard. Also, think about it! People getting richer, what happens when people get rich & being to afford for everything? INFLATIONS , Items which are bought alot will just raise because people are having the powers of buying better items with those mesos they gained. This whole diamond situation sucks & I do not think it's going to be good as everyone thinks, nuff said.
