Just a thought Vicious Hammer makes the equips cheaper, and scrolls more expensive CK makes the equips more expensive, and scrolls more expensive So... Will this end in Equips being slightly higher (knowing greedy merchants >_>) and scrolls soaring through the roof? Discuss.

I was under the impression that hammers make expensive items even more expensive.

I think people across the board will be confused for a few weeks. But when the dust settles, both scrolls and equips will be more expensive.

well scrolled items WITHOUT BEING VICIOUS HAMMERED, will go up in price "ok" scrolled items (e.g. 8 attack WG for example) shouldnt change in price too much i imagine

Yeah only godly scrolled items w/o using hammer will rise a lot. Decently scrolled items will balance out somehow; some will be hammered and scrolled to better stats, but weaker ones or clean ones will be scrolled that are the same stats. I heard the Hammer is 5k nx =( The only problem is if people buy items and blow them all up causing inflation. o.o

How about you THINK Hammers will only be used on items worth in excess of 100m, otherwise there is just not a large return. To keep it simple use WGs as an example. I would argue that most will Hammer a 10+ atk wg. This will cause for an increase in the price of 10 atks, and thus yes... all lower gloves also in order to average out the gaps. Anything above 10 atks will stay relitivly the same because there will be more, but the very top end (15~17atk for argurments sake) will just get bumped up to 17~19, like after any other patch the new effected items will be high at first and will settle down down to their Inflated prices These will then settle down again and we will be back into the curve of our normal boom and bust cycle. I have been watching the maple market for probably 3 years now it always goes like this I dont know why this is up for discusion. My only advice is to try to grab as many clean BWGs and or SWGs. Both of these will be selling for around 500 ~ 700m above their current average price once they have 9 and 7 slots respectivaly. Note this will only be for the first one or two days so take advantage as there will also be ANOTHER influx in the price of gloves due to the massive demand because of all the new chars being made. This is most recently noticable with 8atk WGs 2 Weeks ago - 25m 1 Week ago - 32m Current - 40m This is too hard to explain without an actual understanding and perspective of previous curves in prices. Take my word for it.
