99.99% of the mmo world use DPS not DPM i made a post on the warhammer/warcraft forums asking what DPM means and i got this "Damage Per Minute Versus Damage Per Second Not sure what hes smoking,since DPS is the more common version by far" "in some cases, damage per mana is important," "In five minutes ill be leading this DPS chart dammit!"

DPM is just DPS x 60, but DPM is also less clear, since your damage varies. BUT, rather than using one shot, it's using many and adding in variables, like if you were using hurricane, and got hit or blocked, and had to knock back then use it again.

=/ DPS only works for skills with no cooldown, like Hurricane, for the rest of the skills, DPM is better to calculate, such as Pierce and Blast

idk how this works but if DPS is is x60 then whats so wrong with calling it DPM
