Well, I bought a NEW laptop, and maple was fine and all, after a few weeks, everytime when I play maple story in full screen, the pictures keep on flickering. I dont get this problem when I play windowed mode, but when I press alt+tab, I get a window telling me something like "something something could not find MSVCP71.DLL, please redownload..." So does anybody know where I can find a copy of this? Or any alternate solutions to this problem... besides playing it always in windowed mode. Any help is appreciated.

Msvcp71.dll is a module belonging to the Microsoft C Runtime Library Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) Try installing that, it should fix it. **CAUTION** This is for Windows 32-bit. If you are running Windows 64-bit, then you'll want this link: Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64) **END OF CAUTION** Also, I wouldn't trust those download .DLL sites. [They can edit any code inside that .DLL they like, which means potentiality for viruses, spyware, trojans, etc, etc]. Come back to us with any new error messages, or if it fixed it, mkay^^

I dont know about the DLL file. But for the screen flickering: Have you tried setting the monitor frequency for MapleStory? You can do so by going to the MapleStory folder and opening the Setup.exe file that's in the folder. (Not the setup file you use to install the game.)
