Dark Crystals in Maker Skill

I've heard mixed things about dark and black crystals' use in the Maker skill. I want to use one on my weapon if it can up the atk, but I heard they work like chaos scrolls. Is that true? It seems more like they'd add +(whatever) to a random stat. Can they potentially LOWER stats? If so, I'll just forget about trying one on my Reversal sword. I just want to know exactly how they work. Anyone know? (random last thought; what if they don't release Reversal stuff in Maker for a while? Like, just going up to Dragon gear.. o_o)

Uhh I have this picture it had a rainbow crystal like thing. Yeah i took it in the MTS I searched ? and there is a chaos scroll type crystal. If I find it I'll up load it

Each of them add stats randomly. Dark being mage based I think and black being attack based. But there is no chance of them lowering them.

yes they work like chaos scrolls(i might be wrong) which means there's going to be inflation on ores especially diamonds so get them now go to 2:50

Yeah, what I really want to know is if dark crystals can potentially lower the stats of your made item. I don't want to lower the atk of my sword when I make it.

Ok This is what I know. Diamond - +1 w.ATT or +3 w.ATT Topaz - MaxHP +10 or MaxHP +30 Emerald - MaxMP +10 or MaxMP +30 Power Crystal - +2 STR or +5 STR Wisdom Crystal - +2 INT or +5 INT LUK Crystal - +2 LUK or +5 LUK DEX Crystal - +2 DEX or +5 DEX Rainbow Crystal (Unknown to name) - -1(to something) or -3(to something) I hope this helps (not really I doubt it)

dark and black crystals add random stat. they dont act like chaos scrolls, they dont increase or decrease what is already there. The secret crystal, or rainbow crystal, reduces level requirement on the weapon.

So dark crystals don't change any stat that's already on the item? So if it has str and atk already, it won't affect either of them? Sounds like it's more likely to give you something useless. Thanks markedmask~
