On 7.28.2009 the Maple Trade System (MTS) will undergo a fee change. Due to many players using the MTS as storage, the MTS has experienced higher than expected traffic and has become a burden on the game's performance. In order to reduce these 'bogus' listings on the MTS we are raising the base transaction fee from 100 NX to 500 NX. However, to encourage legitimate use of the service, we are lowering the percentage transaction fee from 10% to 7%. What does this mean for you as a MTS user? Old System: Sellers Price Transaction Fee Buyer Pays 15,000 NX 100 NX + 10% of 15,000 = 16,600 NX New System: Sellers Price Transaction Fee Buyer Pays 15,000 NX 500 NX + 7% of 15,000 = 16,550 NX We believe this change will help discourage abuse of the MTS as well as reward legitimate buyers. Items that were listed under "For Sale" and "Wanted" will be sold with old transaction fee even after 7/28. i honestly don't see how this stops people from "abusing" it, and how it rewards buyers, since if buyers buy from the MTS they'll be paying more for items that cost 221...

If they didn't want people to abuse the MTS they should give people more item slots at least so they wouldn't need to use the MTS as storage in the first place.

another excuse to get our money.....this still wont stop anyone from useing it as storage -,-
