Does the 2x EXP Event affect the exp gained at the end of CPQ, or does it remain the same?

remains the same.

sleepyxdudeStays the same. 2x only increases the exp gained from killing monsters

Only while killing the monsters. The EXP gained for losing/winning the battle remains the same.

It only increases exp from monsters, not raw rewards.

grinding on cpq monsters on 2x is VERY good exp just make sure the other team summons for you like trojans or rombot

It works on the monsters, but the exp you get at the end will not be doubled. So if you get an A it will still be 30,000, not 60,000.

Yes it does work for the monsters. The exp is godly. I had a lvl 43 cleric in my party (I was a 35 dit) and in less than an hour I had gotten to level 37 by trading wins. They summoned master chronos for us and when it was our turn to lose I still received at least 20 or 30 percent in exp.

The monster gives 2x the exp during 2x, but the reward at the end stays the same.
