| Okay guys, this is not another of those "omg igot hekked help plz ineed pincrakcer". As today, July 24th of 2009 my Maple Story career has officially ended. Don't ask me how, someone managed to change my password, the only way to do that is by first knowing my ID, my birthday and my email. My birthday, is not my actual birth date, I messed it up since they didn't let 11 y/o people register, the email for my maplestory account is my main E-Mail, I'm using it right now there is nothing wrong with it. The account I've used since may of 2005 got hacked, don't ask me how. I've always been changing my maple story password every two months and my pin ever 4 weeks for around 1 year now, just to avoid this, and I guess it wasn't enough. I tried using the "Forgot Password" option, I gave my info, received the email with the temporary password, and when I try to log in with it, its not working. ------ As I was typing this my friend told me that she could lend me her account just to check stuff around, I did, I logged out, and said "why not try the account again?" I tried and for some reason It worked, as I type my pin, it says its not right, well I just pin-restet it to a new one. Half of my equips were there, all my money (Over 120m) was there, my buddy list was untouched. I start talking with my friends and they said that they saw me logging on yesterday. This is not even possible since yesterday I didn't even click maple, and haven't clicked it since monday. I go on the mts, jut to check if they did something with the spare nx I had, and for my surprise it was gone, but not just that but also all my "good" equips were selling for low prices. I caceled all the sales. The hacker had already sold my scg, my pac and my sauna. As I search for my mule's name I also see that he has all the gachas and stuff for sale. I log out from my main char to log on my mule and cancel the sales and when I try to log on my pasword is not working, tried at nexon's website and its not working either... I ended up blocking my account for 10 minutes. As this is a wall of text, i'm really hurry, and my mom wants me to go to eat i wont check it right now and just submit it. If anyone has an idea of how the -eff- they got on my account and could help me getting my account back will get my full respect if that serves you for anything. I was able to log in just a few moments ago but something is going on with the temporary password. |
